SHERYL ARONSON AUTHOR

Known for Arting Around in Agenda magazine, and having written for other online and print publications, Sheryl Aronson is a prolific writer and award-winning journalist. With her first book, a memoir titled Passing Myself Down to the Grave, A Woman’s Rise from Darkness, she has received rave reviews from celebrities, authors, and more. Aronson’s memoir encompasses a spiritual and emotional journey, surviving breast cancer. She is a published poet and has interviewed jazz greats Herbie Hancock and Maynard Ferguson in Modern Recording magazine. For Agenda Special Edition 2: La Mode 2016, she interviewed Terri Lyne Carrington and Sheila E; and as a regular contributor for Agenda, she has interviewed countless musicians including Keiko Matsui, Phil Perry, Jeffrey Osborne, and Melissa Manchester. Additionally, her coverage of (WGA) screenwriters, film directors, Hollywood actors and creatives sets Aronson apart. Her piece “Lea Thompson: Defying the Odds with Her SPECTACULAR Career” is just one of the many award-winning contributions that have graced the pages of Agenda, and in previous years, The Hollywood 360Sheryl also holds an editor’s position for Schmooze Jazz magazine.

The other side to Sheryl is her career as a Marriage Family Therapist for over 30 years with her private practice in South Orange County and North Hollywood, California, specializing in relationships and women’s self-esteem, where she created and led both relationship and women self-esteem workshops throughout Orange County. She was a featured guest/relationship expert on the Montel Williams Show and The Berman Sister’s television show in Los Angeles. Ms. Aronson has written articles on relationships for the Orange County Metropolitan Awareness and Beach Cities/Valley magazines; has lectured on topics such as Understanding Your Book of Love, Women and Self-Esteem: I Come First, and The Formula for Creating Positive Change. With the publishing of her memoir, Sheryl lectures on Surviving Breast Cancer/The Spiritual Journey. Her latest article, “A Call to . . . Love,” is featured along with her Arting Around piece “Love Later in Life” (an interview with Billboard recording artist Terry Wollman and vocalist Melanie Taylor) in the coffee table book Agenda Special Edition 3: Untraditional Bride.
